Mr. Watzka is a highly accomplished & forward-thinking top executive and corporate officer with extensive experience in the hospitality, timeshare vacation ownership and resort real estate industries. He has proficiencies in strategic planning, product development, sales, marketing, brand management, and hospitality operations.
Mr. Watzka served as the founding CEO of UMUSIC Hotels - a partnership with Universal Music Group, the world leader in music-based entertainment, and Dakia Global Enterprise, an impact investment holding company to develop a new music-focused experiential Hospitality category.
Prior to this, Mr. Watzka served as Chief Customer Officer & Executive Vice President for Marriott Vacation Club International. He held responsibility for all customer contact processes, including marketing, sales, service, and resort operations. He also oversaw brand management, strategic alliances, customer relationship management, and product innovation.
In this role, Mr. Watzka led a team of ten Vice Presidents and 10,000 associates as he managed a scope of responsibilities covering the U.S., Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. His efforts created a business which generated $2 Billion in annual revenues and serviced 400,000 members for 4 Brands of the company: Marriott Vacation Club, Horizons by Marriott, Marriott Grand Residences and Ritz-Carlton Club.

During his tenure at MVCI, Dan built an owner referral lead generation team, growing it from zero to over 40 reps and generating 50,000 leads annually. He initiated and led a portfolio sales team, boosting incremental volume to $125 million annually from 2004-2009, at the lowest cost of any distribution site.
In 2015, Dan relocated to Spain to revitalize European teams post-global economic crisis, surpassing budgeted volume and cost targets from 2016-2019. His final years at MVCI involved leading the integration of Hyatt Vacation Ownership and Welk Vacation Club into Hyatt Vacation Club, spanning resort locations from Florida to Hawaii to Mexico.

John Paul Midolo has nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare, research and development, and administering complex national programs. He is currently the Managing Partner and Founder of Midolo Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm focused on providing an array of services, including scientific and clinical advisement, internal and external due diligence, regulatory review and strategy development, program development, and implementation strategies.
Before venturing into the world of consulting, John devoted nearly a decade to public service within the Department of Veterans Affairs [VA]. He held pivotal roles, making substantial contributions to various aspects of the organization.
From 2015 to 2018, John served as the Administrative Officer for Research at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina, John provided leadership and strategic vision for the research enterprise. He played an instrumental role in recruiting renowned researchers and expanding the research funding to over $28M in FY2017. He served as an advisor to hospital management and was actively involved in VA's Field Research Advisory Committee and Executive Leadership Committee for Research.
From 2011 to 2015, John managed multiple national progams in Washington D.C. for the VA’s Office of Research and Development [ORD]. As the program coordinator and portfolio manager for the Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QUERI), John oversaw the management of the Rapid Response Proposal portfolio, ensuring fiscal stewardship, and coordinating the Partnered Research Initiative for QUERI. His work significantly contributed to the enhancement of implementation science and productivity in collaboration with various VA Program Office partners. He was then appointed as the Scientific Merit Review Program Manager for the Health Services Research and Development [HSR&D] program. He was responsible for reviewing all program activities as well as providing crucial scientific and technical consultation to field investigators, Center Directors, and inter-agency partners. In FY2014, the budget for this program was $90M.
John earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, and a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Science and Community Health from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
